Karen Turcotte, DVMA native of Rhode Island, Dr. Karen Turcotte joined Tiogue Veterinary Clinic in 2003. She received a BS degree in Zoology from Michigan State University in 1999. Dr. Turcotte then attended the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine, earning a DVM degree in 2003. She enjoys all aspects of general veterinary practice.

When not at the hospital, Dr. Turcotte spends quality time with her family She has one cat named Newton.

 

April White, BVetMed with Dog WilmaDr. April White joined Tiogue Veterinary Clinic in September 2014. She hails from Fishers Island, NY, but now happily resides in Warwick, RI. Dr. White attended both Quinnipiac University and Syracuse University, earning an undergraduate degree in 2000 and then undertook her veterinary studies at the University of London's Royal Veterinary College, earning a BVetMed degree in 2005. Previously, she practiced at Companion Animal Hospital in Groton, CT and Warwick Animal Hospital, our sister hospital in Warwick.

Dr. White truly believes in delivering the best possible care for her clients and their pets. Her interests outside of work include knitting, sewing, exploring Rhode Island, and seeking out every dog-friendly park and beach with her adorable Boston Terrier, Wilma!

Dr. Geoffrey Kardon grew up in New Jersey and currently resides in Narragansett, Rhode Island. He received an undergraduate degree from Clark University and earned a VMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the Tiogue Animal Hospital team in September 2017, Dr. Kardon owned Ashland Animal Hospital and practiced at Warwick Animal Hospital. His special interests include surgery, dentistry, and ultrasound.

In his spare time, Dr. Kardon enjoys boating, fishing, and bee keeping. He also shares his home with one dog, Bonnie, an Arkansas mutt.

Dr. Caroline Mailloux graduated from The Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada, in 1997. After graduating, she worked in Canada until her move to New England in 1999. Her areas of interest include veterinary dentistry, soft tissue surgery, rehabilitation medicine, pain control, and obesity management.

Dr. Mailloux's hobbies include exercising, reading, outdoor activities like skiing, kayaking, and hiking, and spending time with her husband Scott, their two children Matthew and Megan, and their dog Abby. She is looking forward to getting to know you and your pets!
